The heading “Net gain (loss) on disposal of non-current assets” for the year 2012 includes the de-recognition of furnishings, facilities and equipment
as a result of the withdrawal of NH Praha Radlicka in the Czech Republic, NH Trier in Germany, and the hotels NH Mercader, NH Condor and NH Villa
de Coslada in Spain (see Note 8).
The result of the disposal of assets in 2011 corresponds to the sale of five hotels to the INVESCO investment fund, through the Artos transaction,
the sale of the NH Molenvijver Genk in Genk (Belgium), the sale of the NH Ligure in Turin (Italy) and the sale of shops in the hotel NH Krasnapolsky
in Amsterdam (Netherlands).
